Yin Yoga is a highly beneficial practice that is available to all students at all levels. It is different from a Hatha Yoga practice but can be a perfect complement to a more active (Yang) practice. It is a time to slow down, cultivate stillness and create space. Instead of stretching and stimulating the muscles, Yin yoga focuses on stimulating the connective tissues and joints, improving the flow of Chi or Prana through these areas. This is accomplished through passive holding of specific postures for 3-5 minutes, using the breath to ease the body further into the pose. The postures are often supported by props to allow you to release into the pose. It is a perfect practice in the morning or as you ease into your evening or bedtime routine.

We begin with gentle movement to unwind and prepare ourselves before we melt into our Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra – also called yogic sleep, or sleep with awareness – is an ancient practice that induces full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness.
Resting into an extended savasana and turning all senses inward, you are guided step by step into your journey. As you move into a meditative state, you gradually find yourself in a state of harmony and ultimate relaxation, in which your brainwaves slow down and a subtle bliss emerges.
Experience profound healing on all levels as we rest deeply into ourselves.
We grieve because we have loved. Grief does not always mean a loss of a loved one but it may be any type of loss including a way of life, a job, retirement, a pet, a relationship or a part of our body.
Restorative Yoga is a gentle, prop-supported yoga practice. It is designed to help you unwind, release tension, and reconnect with your breath. Revitalize the body and restore your nervous system by holding poses for an extended period of time. This allows the body to gently open to the benefits of the pose, and for you to surrender into relaxation. This is an extremely healing practice, and although subtle, its benefits are profound.
Perfect for all levels—including beginners and those recovering from injury—this class invites you to slow down and embrace the healing power of rest. Whether you're looking to complement a more active practice or simply need a moment of peace, restorative yoga offers a nurturing space to restore and rejuvenate.
